Comme chaque samedi, el Maestro aka Gilles Peterson prends les commandes de la programmation de la BBC6 pour un show de 3h, liant les points musicaux – soul, hip-hop, house, afro, latin, électronica, jazz et au-delà.
Cette semaine, Gilles célèbre deux institutions de jazz; Blue Note Records et BBC’s Jazz 625. Il a de la musique live de Poppy Ajudha et Jordan Rakei tiré du projet Blue Note Reimagined et choisit certains de ses disques Blue Note préférés. De plus, il a des interviews et extraits des moments forts de l’émission spéciale Jazz 625 de BBC 4, comme ceux de Kokoroko, Sons Of Kemet, Moses Boyd et Matthew Halsall.
